Chiltern Primary School, Hull
Chiltern Primary School is a successful school serving the Hessle Road area of the city. We are a larger than average primary school but aim to treat all our pupils as individuals with individual needs and talents.
In November 2016, the school was given academy status along with Stepney Primary, St. George’s Primary and Ings Primary with Kelvin High School as the lead school in the Multi-academy Trust. Priory Primary School and Sidmouth Primary School have more recently joined the MAT. The schools in this trust work closely together to promote high quality education for the children of Hull.
Chiltern Primary School is proud to be an Open Futures Flagship School. The four strands, growit, cookit, film it and P4C support our commitment to enquiry based learning and the development of literacy, numeracy, science and technology, in particular, through the practical application of skills.
Chiltern Primary School is a creative, co-operative community with high aspirations. We use restorative approaches to create our caring and supportive ethos and our enthusiastic and committed staff provide high levels of education and pastoral guidance and support to our pupils.
We are a Primary School with a partnership with Children in Crisis Primary School in Freetown.
